SFC staff will be working remotely and available to SFC providers through their work cell phones. If you have an emergency or specific needs please contact your Family Based Care Specialist. Parenting a Sexually Abused Child

Training Objectives:

  1. Provider recognizes signs/symptoms of child sexual abuse
  2. Provider knows behaviors typical of healthy sexual development
  3. Provider is able to recognize triggers which may cause a child who has been sexually abused to act out
  4. Provider knows how to establish guidelines for safety and privacy in the home for children
  5. Provider knows about professional treatment available for children who have been sexually abused
