Specialized Family Care Program

SFC staff will be working remotely and available to SFC providers through their work cell phones. If you have an emergency or specific needs please contact your Family Based Care Specialist. The public may continue to make referrals or apply to be a home provider by utilizing this site. All staff contact information can be accessed by Contact Us.

Training Objectives:

  1. Provider can recognize signs of hearing loss in a child or adult
  2. Provider knows the causes of hearing loss
  3. Provider knows recommendations to assist a child with a hearing loss in the classroom
  4. Provider knows how to faciliatate communication with an individual with a hearing loss
  5. Provider knows about professionals who can assist in diagnosing a hearing loss and recommend treatment
