Specialized Family Care Program

SFC staff will be working remotely and available to SFC providers through their work cell phones. If you have an emergency or specific needs please contact your Family Based Care Specialist. The public may continue to make referrals or apply to be a home provider by utilizing this site. All staff contact information can be accessed by Contact Us.

Training Objectives:

  1. Specialized Family Care Provider can define blood borne pathogens
  2. Specialized Family Care Provider can name and define symptoms of two of the blood borne diseases
  3. Specialized Family Care Provider knows how blood borne diseases are transmitted.
  4. Specialized Family Care Provider knows the Universal Precautions to prevent spread of blood borne pathogens
  5. Specialized Family Care Provider knows about emergency procedures if exposed to blood borne pathogens
