Training Objectives:

  1. Provider can define EDITH and how to formulate a home escape plan in the event of a fire
  2. Provider knows techniques to aid in escaping a burning house
  3. Provider knows what to do after escaping from a burning house
  4. Provider knows safety precautions to take with children and individuals with mobility issues

Training Procedures:

  • *Provider initiated self-study. Alternate formats of the study materials are available upon request. (View Course Materials)
  • Test completed by Provider (Take the Test Below)
  • Review of test responses by Family Based Care Specialist and Provider
